What is the difference between NYM, MMJ, and AXPK cables?
These cables are intended for different installation methods. Before choosing, you must consider whether the cable will be installed indoors, outdoors, or underground.
Which cable is suitable for underground use?
For underground installations, specific cables designed for underground use are used. Standard indoor installation cables are not suitable for this purpose.
What is the difference between an RCD and an RCBO?
An RCD (Residual Current Device) protects against electric shock. An RCBO combines a residual current device and a miniature circuit breaker into one device and also protects against overloads and short circuits.
What is the difference between B and C characteristic circuit breakers?
B-characteristic is suitable for most home circuits. C-characteristic is used for devices with higher starting currents, such as motors and compressors.
What is an IP rating?
The IP rating indicates how well an electrical device is protected against dust and water. For example, IP44 is suitable for damp rooms, and IP65 or higher is suitable for outdoor use.
Is IP44 suitable for outdoors?
IP44 is suitable for areas protected from direct rain. For open outdoor conditions, it is recommended to use products with at least an IP65 rating.
Which socket is suitable for the bathroom?
In bathrooms, you must use sockets with an appropriate IP rating for damp areas and comply with electrical installation requirements.
Can I use an LED bulb with a dimmer?
Only if the manufacturer has stated that the LED bulb is dimmable.
What is the difference between 3000 K and 4000 K light?
3000 K provides warm white light, which is suitable for living areas. 4000 K is neutral white light, which is often used in offices, workshops, and kitchens.
Do LED bulbs save electricity?
