Motion sensors
Motion sensors are automatic control devices that detect movement and turn on lights or other devices as needed. They are used both indoors and outdoors to ensure comfort, energy saving and security. Motion sensors are suitable for corridors, stairwells, yards, garages and places where lights should only come on when there is movement.
The category includes various technologies: infrared sensors (PIR) , which respond to body heat; microwave sensors , which detect movement even through thinner materials; and recessed or surface-mounted models . Some sensors are equipped with adjustable sensitivity, delay time and light sensor, which allows for precise adjustment according to room conditions.
Motion sensors are used in lighting control, security systems, automatic gates and ventilation systems. The correct installation position and viewing angle of the sensor ensure accurate detection and avoid false alarms.
