Extension cords
Extension cords are pre-made sections of cable with ends that are used to extend existing cable or make temporary connections. They are used in situations where the cable does not extend to the required point.
The extension cable can be single or multi-core, with or without shielding, depending on the intended use. It is important that the cross-section of the extension cable meets the requirements of the same circuit to maintain safety and load capacity. Heat-resistant or highly flexible versions are suitable for devices where movement or vibration occurs.
Extension cords are a convenient solution for both temporary work and more permanent connections in situations where replacing the entire length of the cable is not possible.
