Special cables
Special cables are designed for situations where ordinary electrical wires do not meet the requirements of the installation environment. Their purpose is to ensure reliability at high temperatures, under intense mechanical stress, in contact with chemicals or in other conditions that require stronger insulation and construction than usual. Special cables are used in industrial automation, machine control, ventilation systems, electrical cabinets, car wiring and in places where installation conditions are more complex than usual.
This group of cables includes heat-resistant cables that can withstand high operating temperatures, fire-resistant cables that maintain connections even in the event of a fire, and oil-, UV- and abrasion-resistant cables that are suitable for industrial and outdoor use. Special cables are also used in devices where high flexibility or vibration resistance is required — for example, when connecting robots, pumps or electronic devices with frequent movement.
The insulation material of special cables can be PVC, rubber, silicone, fluoropolymer or combined layers that give the wire the necessary electrical and mechanical properties. The cables can be single or multi-core, shielded or unshielded, depending on whether the installation requires interference protection or signal purity.
Special cables ensure reliability where regular cables are not sufficient and allow electrical systems to operate safely even in extreme conditions.
