Wires
Wires are one of the main components of electrical systems, whose task is to ensure stable and safe power transmission between devices, switches, lighting and electrical panels. Single-core copper wires are widely used in both domestic and industrial installations, where rigid or semi-rigid construction and precise installation alignment are required. Different colors allow for quick and clear identification of cables according to standards — for example, blue for neutral, green-yellow for protective conductor and black or brown for phase conductor.
The cross-section of the wires depends on the current load and the area of use. Wires with a smaller cross-section are used in lighting and switching circuits, wires with a larger cross-section for sockets and power circuits. It is important to choose the properties of the wire according to the installation environment: heat-resistant wires are suitable for higher temperatures or inside equipment, while conventional PVC-insulated versions are suitable for general installations.
Wires must withstand mechanical stress, environmental influences requiring protection, and meet electrical safety requirements. Using the right wire helps reduce the risk of overheating, ensure low contact resistance, and provide reliability throughout the life of the installation.
Wires form the basis of the electrical system and are essential in new buildings, renovations, and minor maintenance and repair work.
