ELKO EP HRN-55N is a 3-phase voltage monitoring relay for DIN rail mounting, which monitors the presence of phases, correct phase sequence, and under- and overvoltage. The HRN-55N version also monitors neutral wire failure, making it suitable for protection and control solutions in 3-phase 400/230 V electrical installations.

The relay can be used, for example, to protect motors, pumps, compressors, and other 3-phase equipment in situations where incorrect phase sequence or phase loss could damage the equipment.

What does the HRN-55N monitor?

The relay continuously monitors the state of the 3-phase network. If a phase is lost, phase sequence is incorrect, neutral is broken, or voltage goes outside permitted limits, the relay enters a fault state and the output contact switches off. A fault state is also indicated by an LED indicator.

The adjustable 0.1–10 second delay helps prevent unnecessary tripping due to very short-term voltage fluctuations.
