BLUETTI Sora 60 (PV60F) is a compact and foldable 60W monocrystalline solar panel, designed for charging portable power stations and USB devices using solar energy. Thanks to its low weight and foldable design, the panel is well-suited for hiking, camping, cars, summer cottages, boats, or travel.

USB-A and USB-C charging

A great advantage of the Sora 60 is the possibility to use the panel also as an independent solar charger. A power station is not strictly necessary – a compatible device can be connected directly to the USB output.

Compact and lightweight

The panel weighs only 1.4 kg and, when folded, its dimensions are just 226 × 210 × 70 mm. When open, the eight-section panel forms a 900 × 424 mm solar surface.

Therefore, the Sora 60 is a good choice if carrying a large 100–400W solar panel is not necessary or practical.

IP65 and ETFE coating

The panel surface is covered with ETFE material, which helps protect the solar cells during outdoor use. The manufacturer specifies the panel's protection rating as IP65.

IP65 means good protection against dust and water jets, but the panel is not intended to be submerged in water. Also, it is worth keeping the connections in the driest and most protected place possible.

How fast does a 60W panel charge a power station?

60W is the maximum rated power of the panel under ideal conditions. The actual charging power depends on sunlight intensity, panel orientation and tilt angle, temperature, shadows, and the characteristics of the device being charged.

For example, in the case of a 320Wh power station, the purely mathematical charging time at 60W would be about 5.3 hours, but in actual use, one should count on a longer time, because the panel does not provide its maximum rated power throughout the whole day.

Therefore, the Sora 60 is particularly well-suited for charging smaller power stations and electronic devices, whereas for larger 800Wh–2kWh power stations, it is better to prefer a higher-power solar panel.
