Residual current circuit breaker 2P 40A 30mA
Product details
General product description – residual current device (RCD)
Description:
A residual current device (RCD) is a device that protects people and equipment from electric shock and fire hazards by automatically interrupting the current when a leakage current to earth is detected in the system. A residual current device does not protect against overload or short circuit, which is why it is often used in conjunction with a circuit breaker (MCB).
Main features:
Function: Protects people and equipment from fault currents
Sensitivity: typically 30 mA (for human protection) or 100/300 mA (for fire protection)
Fault type: Type AC (alternating current), Type A (pulsating direct current), Type F or Type B (extended sensitivity)
Switching capacity: 6 kA or 10 kA, depending on model
Number of poles: 2P (1-phase) or 4P (3-phase)
Rated current: 25 A, 40 A, 63 A, 80 A, etc
Nominal voltage: 230/400 V AC, 50/60 Hz
Module width: 2-4 modules (DIN rail mountable)
Protection class: IP20
